How to Play

Play Find Pair online for free. Find Pair is a simple pair matching game where all items are face up, but buttons may appear at different orientations and can obstruct the view of each other. Early levels start off absurdly easy, but the game's difficulty increases quickly. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the play button at the bottom center of the screen.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - Use your mouse left click button to select an item from the playing field then select a matching item.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap items on the screen with a finger to select them, then select their matching pairs.
    - Controls & indicators
      - The upper left corner has a sound control button while the upper right has a game pause button.
      - Under those buttons are your current stars, your all time best score, and a level timer meter.
      - Game Play
        Matching
        More than 2 of any particular item may be shown on a level.
        You only need to match any 2 of the same item at a time.
        Some items may appear spun around at different orientations.
        When you select an item it spins to the face up direction.
        Some items appear on top of other items, obstructing the view of lower item buttons.
        If you can not tell what an item is you can move the items above it first to help clear your view.
        You can remove an item even if its view is partially obstructed by another item above it.
        If you select an item where you do not know where the identical match is then that selection is deselected as soon as you select another item.
        Scoring
        Each second you have remaining at the end of each level is worth a point.
        Your game score is cumulative across levels.
        Levels
        Each level has more items than the prior level, while the level timer decreases by 10 seconds each level, with difficulty increasing quickly across levels.
        The game only has 5 pair and 110 seconds to complete them on the first level, but by the time you get to level 5 there is a 60 second time limit and dozens of pairs you need to make.
        Your score will be higher on the earliest levels since you have both the most time & the fewest identical pairs to match.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple matching games.
        The bright colors and cute designs make this game appealing for younger children.
        The ease and simplicity of the game may make it boring for older kids and adults who like more challenging games – especially the first couple levels. The difficulty level ramps up significantly by the time you get to level 5 or 6.
