How to Play

Play Yummy Fusion online for free. Yummy Fusion is a connect 3 tile merging game where you place 3 pieces of identical candy adjacent to each other to merge them into another cany type. Play to see if you can merge into 10 different candy types, see how many merges you can make in 2 minutes, or track how many points you can score in 50 moves. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select which mode you would like to play
- Normal mode – merge until you run out of space.
- Time attack – play for 2 minutes to see how high you can merge.
- 50 steps – merge as high as you can in 50 moves.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Select a cell you would like to place the next up candy in using your mouse left click button.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap on the screen to select a cell you would like to place the next up candy in.
      - Controls & indicators
        Across the top of the screen it shows your score, next up item, mode play, and has a button to the home screen.
        If you are in timed mode the mode area shows a timer.
        If you are in steps mode the mode area shows remaining steps.
        The recipe order is shown at the top of the screen.
        Game Play
        Game mode
        The default version of the game has you merge until you run out of space.
        The timed version of the game gives you 2 minutes to play.
        50 steps gives you a total of 50 moves.
        Board
        All versions of the game use the same board.
        The game is organized on a grid which is 4 columns high and 6 rows across, for a total of 24 cells.
        Whenever the cells are full & the final move that filled the last cell does not create a merge the game is over.
        Merging
        Anytime there are 3 identical adjacent items they merge into the next higher up.
        Items can be arranged vertically, horizontally, or a mix of the two in an L-type shape.
        You can merge more than 3 items at a time, however you still only create 1 item from your merger even if you use more ingredients to create it.
        The cell you fill in last becomes the cell the final merge happens in.
        If your merge sets off a chain reaction then it, once again, fills toward the final cell you filled in to create the initial merge.
        Item strategy
        The recipe list includes candy canes, suckers, jelly beans, jawbreakers, wrapped candies, unwrapped hard candies, ice cream bars, ice cream cones, donuts and pies.
        The “next up” item that you will play is shown at the top of the screen, though you have no idea which item will be dealt after that.
        Typically the lowest value pieces (candy canes and suckers) are dealt most frequently.
        Try to use the playing field to give yourself multiple options. For example, you can place a gap between two candy canes and two suckers so that if you get another candy cane or another sucker you can fill it in that square.
        If you break the board into sections try to ensure each section has at least 3 open spaces in it, or enough open space to allow you to complete runs of 3 of nearby items.
        If you want to set off a chain reaction be sure to leave an open space at the end of the run of 3 in a position where when the other candies merge into it that square is adjacent with the next merging candies.
        Scoring
        Each successful item merge is worth points. Higher level ingredients are worth more, with the point value doubling to tripling for each successive merger up the chain.
        Candy cane to sucker is worth 72 points.
        Sucker to jelly bean is worth 144 points.
        Jelly bean to jaw breaker is worth 288 points.
        Jaw breaker to wrapped hard candy is worth 576 points.
        Wrapped hard candy to unwrapped cream candy is worth 1,536 points.
        If you create a chain reaction merge the subsequent merges can earn even more points.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple merging games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
