How to Play

Play Viewnemy online for free. Viewnemy is a 13-stage vertical climbing platformer game set in a dark tower. Turn off the spotlights on your way up to unlock levels. Avoid spikes, bullets, and other dangers. Make it to the top of the tower to win. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the black and gray Start button on the game loading screen.
On the welcome screen click on the NEW GAME button.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
- If you have played previously click on the CONTINUE button to continue your previous game from the furthest level you reached.
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - To move left press the left arrow key or the A key.
    - To move right press the right arrow key or the D key.
    - To jump press the spacebar, X key, or W key. Press twice to double jump.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - The left and right movement buttons are in the lower left corner of the game.
      - The jump button is in the lower right corner of the game. Press once to jump once & press twice to double jump.
      - Controls & indicators
        
        The upper left corner of the screen shows you how many enemies you defeated in the current level & how many you need to defeat.
        
        The upper right corner of the screen shows which level you are on.
        
        Game Play
        
        Strategy
        
        Some parts of the game are driven by guessing, particularly if you have to jump onto areas where there is no light.
        
        Try to use enemy lights & bullet movements to give you an idea of level layout before defeating each enemy, particularly if you keep getting stuck or need to move in unlit areas.
        
        If you keep getting stuck in a particular area see if you can go up and around then come back down to the area you were stuck.
        
        Special blocks
        
        In some areas there are red lock boxes which prevent you from passing. Find the red buttons to step on to unlock these areas.
        
        Some levels have a white block with an exclamation point. Stomp on these blocks to illuminate the area.
        
        Dying
        
        If you hit spikes, bullets, or the side of an enemy you die.
        
        When you stomp an enemy and they are deactivated they stop moving and their light also goes out.
        
        Deactivated enemies & any bullets they previously fired can not hurt you.
        
        Some enemies are stationary while others move. Be sure you land on top of enemies and do not aim just in front of them.
        
        Some enemies can walk across spikes while you can’t, so if you stomp an enemy on spikes be sure to jump to the next safe platform.
        
        This game offers unlimited continues and allows you to continue at the beginning of whichever level you were on.
        
        Levels
        
        Each level of the game typically has 2 or 3 lamps you need to extinguish before you can jump to the next level above (though the final level has 5 lamps).
        
        After you have extinguished all lamps by jumping on them the next level is unlocked.
        
        Jump through the dashed line at the top of the level and you will begin playing the next level. This dashed line will act as a vertical platform you can move across and use as a base for the next level.
        
        Target Audience
        
        The game is suited for young players who like platforming games.
        
        The game has no adult themed content.
